We are Paul and Margo Rogers, the owner/operators of Fur on the Mountain. We moved to Blacksburg, VA in August 2022 from Charleston, SC. Charleston is great, but we needed more nature and less traffic, so we chose to come to beautiful Blacksburg. We both worked in the hospitality industry for many years, but after we started having children we decided that the hours we were working were not ideal for spending time as a family. I, Margo, began grooming in 2014 and love the craft as well as the sweet furry clients. Knowing I wanted to continue grooming and Paul wanting out of the hospitality industry, led us to the decision to open our own salon and work together. We love dogs and strive to make our clients and their four-legged (sometimes three-legged) family members feel as comfortable and welcome as possible. Whether for a groom, DIY bath, nail trim, or other service, we hope to see you and your fur babies soon!
